BS in Emergency Management — Elizabeth City State University

Elizabeth City State University in Elizabeth City, North Carolina, offers a Bachelor of Science in Emergency Management that is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). These classes include Intro. to Emergency Management; Disaster Response and Recovery; Hazard Mitigation and Preparedness; Emergency Services Law and Ethics; Social Dimensions of Disaster; Emergency Disaster Preparedness; Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD); Global Terrorism; Emergency Planning; Practice & Politics of Mitigation; and Hazard Analysis & Risk Assessment. Every student completes one internship. To complete the program, students must participate in a senior seminar, a second internship or a capstone project course.
